The 7kW single-phase unit was installed in his garage, allowing him to charge his vehicle directly from both solar energy and off-peak electricity - combining low-cost and low-carbon energy sources.
The charger was positioned exactly where Richard requested for easy driveway access, and the installation included a clean cable run from the charger, up and over the garage door, and into the existing consumer unit.
